This Motion graphic was one of my first exploration and it followed closely to the book I created. It uses a lot of big words and zooming in on them as well as making the words move in a way that shows what the words mean.
STORYBOARDS: Just like the book, your storyboards need to be DESIGNED, the sketches should give me an idea of the compositions and how they are animated just by looking at them, then give me motion details in the notes. The sketches are pretty sloppy and you don't have to scribble every word, straight lines can represent smaller type, while the big words can be written. They don't have to be belaboured, just give a better view of the compositions. That means better sketches and probably a bit more to give me a sense of the action visually. Also, more precise description of the action, "appear slowy" doesn't tell me how they appear. Do they fade-in? Enter from the top or bottom? Also, if you don't feel comfortable sketching with pencil, lay it out in InDesign or Illustrator.
